Will Michael or Sonny Corinthos take first place?
On General Hospital, Michael is furious with his father because Sonny Corinthos abandoned Michael’s mother for the wicked Nina. Sonny must now make payment. Dex was recruited by Michael to…engage in nefarious activity while serving Sonny. But that cunning strategy hasn’t really materialized yet.
General Hospital: A Convoluted Mess
We have to ask: Why doesn’t Michael (Chad Duell) just eliminate Sonny (Maurice Benard) in the most obvious manner imaginable after weeks and weeks of witnessing Dex (Evan Hofer) get sidetracked by Joss (Eden McCoy) and seem to neglect his Destroy Sonny agenda?

Michael was raised in Sonny’s gang. He might not be aware of the locations of all the graves. He does, however, know where some of them are. Is there a reason he isn’t giving Mac (John J. York) this knowledge right away? We have confidence that Mac will be able to deal with the proof even though Jordan (Tanisha Harper) may not know what to do with it.
Sonny Corinthos: Proof Positive
And even if Michael lacks all the information the District Attorney may require, he can certainly lead the police in the right direction, right? Even dull specifics, like Sonny’s “coffee” warehouse’s shipping timetable, ought to provide some hints.
Not to mention what Michael discovered regarding AJ’s passing. For a few weeks, do you recall how furious he was with Sonny for murdering his real father? Even Avery was removed from his care by him. But after a while, Michael moved on, and he and his beloved old dad resumed their friendship.
General Hospital: Cowardly Lion
And it is at this point that the problem is solved. Michael must be aware that his temper tantrums toward Sonny never last for very long. Although he won’t acknowledge it to himself or Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), Michael secretly knows that he will eventually pardon Sonny. He is not fully behind the effort to eliminate Sonny for this reason. Michael doesn’t want to bring down his dad’s illegal enterprise because then he might be drawn back into it.
