All her children…that she gave away.
When she first joined General Hospital, Heather Webber was a social climber who would do anything to advance in life. Heather’s mother was a housekeeper, and she had no intention of following Alice Grant’s example. She got pregnant after seducing Dr. Jeff Webber, but after finding out he wasn’t interested, she left for New York City to pursue a modeling career. and traded the young Steven Lars for cash on the illicit market.
Heather Webber: Number One Son
Mary O’Brien at the time, Heather, wasn’t very unhappy about it. up until Jeff (then Richard Dean Anderson) found her, at which point she pretended the child had passed away. Jeff and Heather met and fell in love because of their mutual sorrow over their son’s death. At that point, Heather realized that her relationship sadly lacked “and baby made three.”
After tracking Steven Lars to his adoptive mother, the now-widowed Diana Taylor, she determined that the best way to get her son back was to give Diana an LSD overdose so that she would be arrested and Heather could intervene to save her son.
Unfortunately, tiny PJ muddled the glasses, and Heather ended up drinking the laced cocktail and getting arrested. However, when Heather (now played by Robin Mattson) awoke in the mental hospital, she realized how much she missed her son and was willing to kill Diana to get him back. Fortunately, Heather’s mother arrived first.

But viewers discovered over 40 years later that during the entire time she had been prepared to kill for her Steven Lars, she had met Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) in New York and given birth to another kid, Franco, who she also gave up for adoption. Why then is one child the subject of a dangerous fixation while another is ignored?
General Hospital: Three’s the Charm
But hold on—more! there’s We now know that Heather had an affair with Ryan Chamberlin (Jon Lindstrom), with whom she had a kid, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), whom she also abandoned. This time, it was allegedly done to defend her against her serial murderer papa. But, you know, it’s better to consider that before you have a psychotic dream than after. What we’re trying to convey is that for a lady who is so fixated on retrieving one child, she sure appears unconcerned about raising his future siblings.
