On GH, stranger partnerships have occasionally occurred.
He is a dedicated Grade-A adolescent who loves his family and peers dearly. Since moving to Port Charles, she has been a nasty pariah and the definition of a cruel girl. Esme and Cameron are diametrically opposed. They are the pair General Hospital has been establishing, and it completely works.
General Hospital About Face
Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) has completely transformed since coming to after her second fall off the balcony at Wyndemere. She is unaware of her history or her extensive record of transgressions. She is totally confused, and learning that she was expecting while having no memory of her baby’s father only made matters worse.
Esme’s suddenly empathetic. Anyone whose real parents are the evil Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and the insane Heather Webber is impossible not to feel bad for (Alley Mills). With a new baby boy and no idea what to do next, she has changed from being the village outcast to a defenceless unmarried mother.
GH: Enter Cameron
The ideal person to step in to save Esme is Cameron (William Lipton), who is still reeling from his split with Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and desperately needs something to take his mind off things. He’s a natural carer. Since he has been assisting his mother care for their younger siblings, Jake and Aiden, he has essentially been the man of the house for years.
He’s the only unpaired adolescent in the community, making him the obvious option to be drawn into Esme’s world. The mature young man who helped raise his siblings is the perfect person to assist her with her newborn boy. In addition, Cameron has always been kind and sympathetic, so it stands to reason that he would be fascinated by the softer, more kind Esme and willing to overlook her past transgressions.
The Next General Hospital Step
Esme’s decision to relocate to her relative Kevin’s (Jon Lindstrom) house and live with his wife Laura (Genie Francis), who also happens to be Esme’s baby’s grandma, is inevitable. Cameron would have many reasons to pass by and visit Laura since she has served as his grandma since he was born. He was likely to quickly become involved in the life of the newly dependent Esme and develop a relationship with her boy. This pairing and plot are just begging to be revealed.
