On General Hospital, Alley Mills portrays Heather Webber, who is fox-crazy.

The line “She’s not insane” from the 1981 rap song “General Hospi-Tale” about Heather Webber (Alley Mills) needs to be updated. Uh, uh. Not at all. Dr. Jeff Webber is all that she really desires. Not only has Jeff been off Heather’s mind for a while, but we can also say that Heather is certifiable based on Mills’ most recent masterful performance.

Alley Mills: GH Performer of the Week

The Hook plot, among others, reached its conclusion during a memorable February sweeps week. Heather cruelly sank her non-lethal hook into Austin to start the week (Roger Howarth). She later teamed up with fellow murderer and accomplice Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) to kidnap Felicia and Ava at Wyndemere.

Heather scoffed at Felicia (Kristina Wagner), who referred to her as the serial murderer known as the Hook, and said, “Guilty as accused, your highness.” Heather explained that she was murdering people for the same reason that Mac was a police officer in response to Mac’s wife’s question. But Felicia explained that’s so he can serve and defend. “Exactly! Heather answered as if it were the most apparent thing in the world, “Same here.

This straightforward conversation, though warped, encapsulates Mills’ allure as Heather. Heather believes that it is the rest of society that is ignorant of how things ought to operate. Additionally, Mills always manages to inject unexpectedness and quirky comedy into every scenario. Heather remarked, referring to the handgun Ryan had given her, “This sucker’s weighty.” I like the catch better.

We worried that Heather would use the pistol to later murder Felicia and Ava (Maura West), but it only made logical that she wouldn’t. They hadn’t actually done anything to hurt Esme, after all (Avery Kristen Pohl). Even after letting Felicia and Ava know they could escape, Heather kept hold of her firearm. There were two of them, and one of them might have used Heather by grabbing the hook. (Lindstrom is not the only performer who plays psychotic characters by using reasoning that is twisted in a way akin to the Joker.)

Heather went ahead and loaded a different type of handgun while assuring Ava that she wouldn’t shoot her gun at her or Felicia. Ava was informed by Heather that Ryan was to blame for Esme’s interference in her life. (However, you’d assume Ryan’s murder of Kiki would have been sufficient justification for Ava to go after the serial murderer.)

Heather nodded nicely as she was being formally taken into custody and having her Miranda rights read to her; she even claimed to have heard them a few times before. Heather was questioned by Det. Bennett (Kendrick Cross) if she comprehended what he had said. She shrugged, “Well, sure. Isn’t that what I just said? Once more, this is Heather’s universe, and everyone in it is incomprehensible to her.

People sometimes fail to see Heather’s point of view because they are preoccupied with their fears of what she will do next. However, Mills portrays her role with a very specific goal in mind: she wants to exact revenge on her daughter, get away with it, and occasionally chomp down on a BLT sandwich at Kelly’s Diner.

Although Heather was handcuffed and in detention, Alley Mills still has chances to make her character interesting. Viewers already knew that she is Esme’s mother, but Laura (Genie Francis) requested confirmation from her ex-aunt by marriage to help wrap up this specific plot conclusion.

How could you overlook it, Heather questioned sarcastically with a smile. She bears my grin. Then, instead of continuing to display her pearly teeth, Mills decided to transform her appearance into pure meanness, just as Esme frequently did when she believed no one was watching. (Her grin, indeed.) Brilliant.

As the action-packed week went on, Alley Mills added more drama. When Esme went into labour, she immediately shifted into watchful Mama Bear mode. As Heather encounters Sasha (Sofia Mattsson), the widow of Brando (Johnny Wactor), one of her casualties, there will be more to come the following week. We anticipate that Heather’s status as the Hook does not preclude future encounters with her. A litigator (other than Diane Miller, who survived the Hook, we assume) would contend that Heather is not rational, so we anticipate seeing Alley Mills reappear as the plot demands.

Other GH ensemble members also shone in these most recent shows, deserving of honourable mention. They included Jon Lindstrom (Ryan/Kevin) and Brook Kerr (Portia), as well as Maura West (Ava), Kristina Wagner, and Felicia. Thank you all!
