Potential New General Hospital Pairing Has Fans Taking Sides in a Big Way

Robert and Diane? Never saw that one coming.

Did General Hospital just sneak in a new supercouple in the making right when we were expecting a redo of a supercouple past? Many a viewer seemed to think so after recent scenes between Tristan Rogers’ Robert and Carolyn Hennesy’s Diane. Many a viewer also loved the idea.

Hennesy tweeted on November 8: “Just looking through some of the tweets involving Diane/Robert.” I adore your enthusiasm for this combo.

She rushed to add, “Utterly respect his love for Holly, but really, this actress’ fingers are crossed!”

Many of her supporters were present. Grace Anne stated, “I bought into it whole hog. It’s evidence of [Hennesy’s] talent… Additionally, I love a heartbroken underdog.

Lisa expressed her hope for Diane and Robert, calling them “the pairing we never knew we needed.” Rogers and Hennesy have “real on-screen chemistry,” as “Cheryl Quartermaine” gushed, adding that their “lingering hand in the elevator was ember hot.”
