Tabyana Ali and Nicholas Alexander Chavez delve into #Sprina’s relationship
Spencer Cassadine and Trina Robinson, respectively portrayed by Nicholas Alexander Chavez and Tabyana Ali, have a long way to go before declaring their love for one another based on their recent interactions at Pentonville. The two actors recently discussed the challenges facing their on-screen personalities.
Nicholas Alexander Talks Grandfather Victor
At a recent Coastal Entertainment event, Ali and Chavez spent the evening with several hundred “Sprina” supporters. The couple was questioned about their challenges, among other things. To begin with, Spencer has a granddad who exerts moderate control over his family and virtually every aspect of his life.
When will Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) quit being such a bully, asked one fan? Victor will cease being a bully after he is buried, according to Chavez’s theory. It’s just how he is. However, there are advantages to the dynamic between the two Cassadines. “[Victor and Spencer’s] relationship is interesting in some aspects. To him, he resembles a father figure. He frequently fails to comprehend Spencer. He certainly has a playful side. Definitely, Spencer needs to exercise caution around him.
Ali Talks Officer Rory, AKA That Guy
Rory Cabrera, a police officer, is also blocking Trina and Spencer from each other in addition to Victor (Michael Blake Krause). Rory and Trina are improving and developing their relationship, and Ali says, “We’re trying to see where we’re going it.” But there is still friction between Spencer and [Trina]
Nicholas Alexander Chavez, Tabyana Ali on Soulmates
Fans are hoping that somehow, someday, Spencer and Trina find their way to love. “I feel like Spencer and Trina come together in a unique way that is special to them,” Chavez says. “Spencer and Trina are soulmates,” Ali offers. “They have a connection. Regardless of how many times they try to separate from each other, they still end up back with each other. Trina is not trying to think about Spencer, yet she can’t help it.”
“They are soulmates,” Chavez concurs. “That’s how I play the relationship whenever we’re in the same room with each other. Soulmates doesn’t mean we’re always the nicest to each other. Soulmates are the people who hurt you the worst. They’re the ones who make you feel really badly about yourself sometimes. It’s crazy that way. It’s not all roses.”
