She’s done it before. She did it again.
Fans of General Hospital are having trouble processing the revelation that Heather Webber is The Hook, who has been killing all over town for weeks. For starters, why did the murdering start before Esme Prince arrived in Port Charles if she was doing it for Esme Prince’s benefit? And secondly, shouldn’t Heather be detained in a mental institution? Shouldn’t those locations have protection, you know? at the very least, a door lock? How did Heather manage to do it? Would knowing that this isn’t her first time help?
GH Back To the Past
Dr. Jeff Webber (then-Richard Dean Anderson) desired to wed Annie Logan in the early 1980s when we still believed he was a devout man rather than a philanderer who would brainwash his daughter (Susan Pratt). But he was unable. as a result of his ongoing marriage. With Heather (then-Robin Mattson). Because Heather was catatonic in a mental institution after taking some LSD intended for Diana Taylor (Brooke Bundy), the mother of Heather and Jeff’s son Steven Lars, he was unable to divorce Heather (renamed PJ by his adoptive folks).
Heather Webber Fooled You
Heather’s catatonic state was broken. but made the choice to keep that information private. She had a fantastic excuse—being locked up in a mental institution—to slip out and watch Jeff and Annie, as well as Diana and PJ. In order to trick the cameras, she would pose as a nurse lookalike and get her roommate, Sarah, a kind, innocent person with mental illness who looked up to Heather, to step in and take her place. (We recently found out that Jeff’s second daughter shared a name with the person Heather used as leverage, and Jeff was aware of this.) However, we won’t linger on that.)
Means, Motive, and GH Opportunity
One night, Heather snuck out to murder Diana and pin the crime on Annie. That ended up not working out. But the point is, she’s been breaking out maximum security for 40 years now. Should we really be surprised she managed to do it again?
