We all know that Carly Corinthos loves collecting other people’s children on General Hospital. When Alexis Davis was hospitalized years ago, Carly was happy to temporarily get her hands on tiny Kristina Davis-Corinthos. She made sure that Michael Corinthos had nothing to do with his biological father, AJ Quartermaine, while he was growing up, and, whenever she was with Sonny Corinthos, Carly made sure that Josslyn Jacks lived with them and not her dad.

Avery, Sonny’s child with Ava Jerome, was her most recent purchase. Even though Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) are now divorced, she made sure the child called her “Mommy Carly,” and she appears to still think she should have influence over the child’s life. What if her motivation isn’t purely self-serving, though? What if Carly is aware of something that no one else is?
General Hospital: The Big Secret
We had a Who’s the Daddy narrative when Ava (Maura West) was first expecting. Was it Sonny (Maurice Benard), the man she had hate sex with in a crypt, or was it Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig), the man she was in a relationship with, much to Carly’s (Laura Wright) disgust? But who was… you know, Sonny… Port Charles’ most virulent man? It was Sonny who prevailed. based on a paternity examination. That Carly had numerous chances to cause trouble.

Ava enraged Carly. Additionally, she detested the thought of her adored baby boy practically sharing a bed with that serpent. Carly didn’t want to give up contact with her grandchild, either. Particularly if Ava tempted the father, Morgan, away from the child’s cherished mother. She could only switch the results of the paternity tests, making Sonny the father. That would prevent Ava from having an impact on Morgan while still enabling Carly to kidnap her granddaughter. It’s a typical Carly action!
