Will Willow’s search find someone in her own backyard?

GH spoilers reveal Willow Tait is on a desperate search for her birth family, so she may find an easy bone marrow match to treat her stage 4 cancer, but she also has no idea her birth family is right in Port Charles, sans her dead father.

GH Spoilers Wild Speculation: Willow Finds A Donor

Most people believe that once Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) finally gives in and admits that Nina Reeves is Willow (Katelyn MacMullen)’s birth mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will prove to be a bone marrow match. Even though it would be great if Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), her twin sister, turned out to be alive after all, what if an apparently random match is discovered earlier?

As Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow look for Willow’s biological family, her medical professionals are using the National Bone Marrow Registry to try to discover a match for her. What if Kelly Thiebaud’s character, Britt Westbourne, had joined the registry years earlier without ever considering the possibility that her cancer-stricken OB patient would be a match?

Since Nina is Willow’s mother, she has several relatives in the area, including Britt, Liesl Obrecht’s daughter, and her great-aunt Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), as well as her own adopted son Wiley Corinthos. Although cousins are not normally good bone marrow matches, this will work for the sake of this soap opera plot. Britt is a match, but it turns out that she can’t even be her donor because of her newly discovered Huntington’s disease.

General Hospital Spoilers: Pressure And Suspicion On Carly

Inga Cadranel’s character Harmony Miller informed Carly that Nina is Willow’s mother, so Britt would be a blood relative of Willow when Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) learns that Britt is a match for Willow. Carly outright lied to his face when she informed him that it had turned out to be untrue, and she is now gladly “helping” him find Willow’s birth parents. Will Drew eventually come to the conclusion that Carly has been lying and guiding him in the wrong direction throughout this entire search?

With Britt unable to donate her bone marrow and the need to continue looking for a match, Carly would undoubtedly find herself in a sticky situation. Will Drew’s questions and Carly’s knowledge that she has knowledge that could save Willow’s life while Willow is carrying Carly’s grandchild finally convince her to come clean?

Spilling all would certainly blow up Carly’s life at the moment, but if she really wants to prove to the world that her trip to Florida did indeed enlighten her (we have yet to see any evidence that it did), then finally doing the right thing might be a splendid idea. Will it happen all because of Britt’s “random” match for Willow? Think that this wild speculation could come true? Let us know in the comments section below.
