Several gather in Port Charles with various agendas — one group wants to find The Hook and stop her. The other is looking to celebrate the New Year like there is no tomorrow — because more time is never promised.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is part of the first group, as he and his father Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) meet with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis), her grandson Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). Curtis points out that this killer has already claimed too many lives as Marshall wonders when it’s going to end.
When they find Esme Prince, Spencer believes he already knows how that story will end (Avery Kristen Pohl). As pictures of Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), Heather Webber (Alley Mills), Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) run across the screen, Trina wonders what if they have this wrong—what if it’s someone they never even suspected.
As Britt’s swinging birthday celebration picks up the pace, the countdown starts. Her closest family members, including Brad Cooper, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), are present (Parry Shen). General Hospital History
GH made its debut in 1963 and was created by the husband and wife team of Frank and Doris Hursley, taking place at a hospital but in an unnamed city. In fact, the setting wasn’t named as Port Charles until the 1970s. General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.
From legendary Laura’s (Genie Francis) four decades on and off and back on as the show’s leading heroine, to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) super spy exploits, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH certainly knows how to please their viewers.
