Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) are attacked as they inspect a building, according to General Hospital (GH) teasers and updates. As a sharpshooter fires at them where the Pikeman transaction is about to happen, they save one another.
General Hospital Spoilers – Dex Heller Spots The Sniper
Dex has a very sharp eye thanks to his military training and his time spent in Afghanistan, and as he and Sonny are looking around, he notices the sharpshooter.
As the shot is released, Dex takes Sonny to the ground, and the two of them must work together to escape. Dex has a natural tendency to put the safety of others before his own, which is how he twice managed to save Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Dex informs Sonny that they need to get out of the way of the gunfire because the longer they stay there, the worse their odds are. Another thing that becomes clear is how much Dex and Sonny are starting to care about one another.
GH Spoilers – In The Foxhole Together
That single shot didn’t appear to be enough to halt the assault, as Sonny soon finds himself rescuing Dex, which doesn’t escape his attention. Dex is troubled about continuing to work for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to bring Sonny down and doesn’t take the information casually.
Furthermore, a sniper assault in the warehouse wasn’t how this was meant to finish, and it appears that the Pikeman group is renegade and has its own plan. Pikeman appears to be attempting to kill Sonny and Dex without the presence of any Feds, as Michael predicted would happen.
General Hospital Spoilers – Finally To Safety
By a hair’s breadth, they manage to escape the building in the end, but Michael will undoubtedly face some difficult inquiries from Dex. He knew getting engaged with mob types could be dangerous, but this is not what he intended.
This initial gathering was intended to be a planning session for the Pikeman group’s upcoming swap of weapons in Sonny’s warehouse.
Dex had not anticipated that there would already be snipers in the building, to which they weren’t meant to have the keys. Sonny and Dex have developed a connection, and Dex doesn’t want to hurt him.
