GH Spoilers: Liz Is Headed To See Kevin — How Much More Therapy Can She Take While Lying?

According to General Hospital (GH) spoilers, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is reaching her breaking point with the chaos going on all around her. She has not been treated well over the past year, and she is prepared to accept responsibility for her part in it. Unlike the last time she met Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom), Elizabeth is not rushing to therapy with an urgent need. Instead, she is worried that she doesn’t have much fight left in her and that she is losing hope of having a meaningful purpose in her life.

Self-sabotage may turn out to be a major issue that she and Kevin discover in therapy as she only seems to be burrowing further and deeper into the hole she has dug for herself. Though she’s juggling so many secrets and falsehoods, what is she going to talk to him about?

General Hospital Spoilers — The Pregnancy

When Elizabeth last sought Kevin’s assistance for her emotional problems, she resisted telling him who she saw in her visions was Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) deceased wife, Reiki Finn, which caused her to hold back quite a bit (Mele Ihara). She might find herself playing the same tiresome game again because she is unlikely to reveal to Kevin that she had an affair with Marcus Coloma’s Nikolas Cassadine, which led to a pregnancy and subsequent miscarriage.

She won’t feel comfortable informing him, though, that she made up an affair, a pregnancy, and a false miscarriage on top of having never had one. We can assume that she will present her interpretation of the middle-ground truth. The problem is that because of doctor-patient confidentiality, Kevin won’t be able to reveal anything she tells him. On the other side, Kevin will be helpless to intervene when his wife Laura Collins (Genie Francis) becomes involved in her son Nikolas’ falsehoods.

GH Spoilers – Hint The Hook Plays a Role

Only because she believed Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) was The Hook did Elizabeth agree to Nikolas’ plan to keep Esme locked up at Wyndemere. She believed that by imprisoning her, she would be safeguarding all of the residents of Port Charles, including her own family. She would also have protected Nikolas and his child by letting Esme give birth and give the child to Nik rather than sending her to jail so the child may be born there.

Given that The Hook killed Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) while Esme was still imprisoned, Elizabeth now realizes that Esme cannot be The Hook. However, she isn’t sure how to get out of this situation without turning herself in. She might admit to Kevin that in trying to protect her family, she has gotten herself into a dreadful problem, and that the only way to get out of it is to endanger everyone. Elizabeth could be prepared to own up to her crimes.

General Hospital Spoilers — Everything Comes Full Circle with Finn

Elizabeth finds it particularly difficult to tolerate the way in which she ended her relationship with Finn. The couple was obviously doomed months ago. It was never a concern that Elizabeth hurt Reiko. The issue was that she didn’t want to tell Finn the truth and withheld it from him. Like she did when she was experiencing time lapses and believed Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) was haunting her, she ran into a fresh issue with Nik and Esme and instead of talking to Finn about it, she shut him out.

However, Elizabeth respects Finn too much to let him continue to think that she cheated on him and that’s how things went down. Additionally, Finn is overly curious about a few things that don’t line up, and Elizabeth will feel the effects of his quest for the truth.
