GH Spoilers: Dante Encourages Cody, Will Cody Tell Mac The Truth?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will give Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) some much needed encouragement soon. Might Cody let it slip that he lied about the paternity test results and Dante encourages him to tell Mac Scorpio (John J. York) the truth?

General Hospital Spoilers – Cody Bell Might Fudge The Truth A Tad

Cody will now find it impossible to admit that he lied about the paternity test, not even to his oldest friend Dante. He lied in order to inherit the $35 million necklace that Britt Westbourne had received from Peter August (Wes Ramsey) (Kelly Thiebaud). So he might somewhat embellish the reality while still telling Dante that he had since realized that he had misinterpreted the paternity test findings.

Cody isn’t a physician, a lab technician, or someone who is familiar with medical language, after all. Cody has a hard time accepting responsibility for his mistakes, but he did admit that he had recently done something really wrong.

GH Spoilers – Cody Bell Did A Brotherly Thing

Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), Dante’s mother, was concerned about him because he hadn’t returned home at night when Cody recently did something incredibly brotherly for him, but it was Mac who noticed. Even though she didn’t trust him and believed he was chasing her, Cody took the initiative to call Mac at the station while the two of them were at Volonino’s Gym.

Sam was relieved when Mac and Dante soon entered Volonino’s, and Mac told him to call him at any time. Mac appeared impressed. Given that Cody didn’t think he was good enough, it sounds like he was experimenting with what a father and son relationship would be like. The fact that Mac believed he had done a decent job finding Dante for Sam seemed to give Cody a sense of relief.

General Hospital Spoilers – Cody Bell Confesses

Even though it may be difficult to reveal the full extent of his dishonesty, he acknowledges that he was too embarrassed to inquire about the meaning of the test results when he received them. He only had a doctor explain it to him because he didn’t want to sound like a simple-minded hick, but he was wrong—Mac IS his father. There is no guilt in it, Dante grins broadly, pats him on the shoulder, and exhorts him to tell Mac.

It’s similar to when someone doubts the value of their own query when, in fact, the only stupid question is the one they choose not to ask. Since Dante had a crime leader for a birth father, Dante really plays it up, urging Cody to tell Mac the truth.
