GH Spoilers: Carly And Drew Celebrate, New Year, Newly Engaged?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will celebrate on New Year’s Eve. Away from Port Charles, they’ll celebrate the New Year, and possibly a new engagement.

General Hospital Spoilers – A Box With A Key

They appear to have a time share that Drew has bought in a romantic location, and they will probably be there. Drew gave Carly a small box with a key for Christmas. Soon after Drew, with the aid of a newspaper reporter, discovered a lead on Josiah Black (uncast character), Carly hid the file he discovered on him in her purse. After that, she proposed that they go on a romantic getaway to get away from the pressure of Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) search for her birth parents.

When Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) allegedly obtained baby Willow from Josiah after a lady called Joan gave birth, Josiah was the cult leader at Peace and Love Commune. There were no records of the woman in Claiborne County, where the commune was located, according to Drew and the local reporter.

Following Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) threat that they may be detained for insider trading if he turned them in, Drew and Carly were attempting to keep their relationship under wraps. They didn’t want any proof that they were more than simply acquaintances, just in case, but it appears that Ned has now descended from his perch. Their relationship is almost no longer a mystery since Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), and pretty much everyone else who sees them together figured it out.

One thing is keeping it a secret; another is Carly not telling anyone that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is Willow’s birth mother. The kind of deception that may put a stop to everything: Carly lied to Drew about the DNA test indicating a match after he assisted her in getting Willow’s to compare to Nina’s.

When he gave her the key, Drew gave off the feeling that he has something extremely special planned. He could be persuaded by Carly to visit that favorite location over the New Year’s holiday so that they can begin the new year with a clean slate. They will likely return from their New Year’s vacation engaged, though they will keep the news under wraps for the time being.

To avoid being found to have conspired on Carly’s unsuccessful stock purchases, they need to be certain that enough time has passed since the merger attempt. She was forced to give up her share of The Metro Court because she had used it to pay for multiple Aurora Media stock acquisitions and was unable to get it back.
