GH Seems To Have Left Enlightened Carly Spencer In Florida

What happened to the Carly who just examined her life?

Carly Spencer just spent nearly two months of General Hospital storyline time in Florida and announced she would be returning to Port Charles a changed woman who had once again examined the mistakes she made as a teenager. She even changed her last name from Carly Corinthos within an hour of being home, but then it seemed Enlightened Carly made a beeline back to Jacksonville the first time Carly Spencer stepped out her front door.

General Hospital: Carly Will Always Be Carly

It just took one sighting of Sonny Corinthos and Nina Reeves together at the local Halloween event for the old Carly to replace the enlightened Carly. Maurice Benard and Cynthia Watros. When she told Sonny that he could no longer have Nina around their small daughter, Donna, she immediately reverted to her angry, defensive mentality, in which anything she says must be taken back.

Thankfully, Sonny made the decision to ignore his demanding ex-demands wife’s and immediately put an end to her nonsense by informing her that he is now going to live his life as he pleases. In essence, he told Carly that she had held her grudge towards Nina long enough.

Good For The GH Goose

Although Carly didn’t appreciate hearing this, what else could she do? The scowl on her face informed us that this was the same Carly who boarded a flight to Aruba but had to make a stop in Florida where she apparently received a new perspective on life. She can’t stop Sonny from doing what he wants, just as Sonny can’t stop her from going on.

A short while later, we saw her in her living room preventing Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) from speaking because she needed to talk over her, despite the fact that Jordan was trying to alert Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) to the possibility that The Hook might pursue them. As always, Carly had to be the center of attention.
