It was a Turkey Day like no other in Port Charles!.
The GH recap for Tuesday, November 29, 2022, features an odd year for the Quartermaines when a turkey really does take center stage.
GH Recap Highlights
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) voiced her suspicions in this episode, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) wasn’t the only strange guest at the Quartermaine Thanksgiving, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) confronted Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) with the truth, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) had issues with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), and Robert Scorpio Let’s now delve a little more deeply into the specifics.
Lisa LoCicero’s character Olivia Quartermaine was adamant that this year would be different. For Thanksgiving, the family she married into would have a turkey, which she personally bought from a farm with a French name. It’s a shame she didn’t speak French because she would have understood that they were actually sending her a live turkey.
While Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) was delighted to see the turkey, he did not enjoy the idea of Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) preparing and cooking it. As a result, he let the turkey loose in Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) home when it appeared that Monica had decided to celebrate Thanksgiving somewhere else this year. Carly Spencer must have made her approach known to her.
The Qs watched in horror as the turkey destroyed the kitchen, along with their visitors who chose to stay this year. But at least they could order pizza, so everything was fine.
I guess not quite. When a not-so-well-meaning Carly told Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael that she’d assist them hunt for Willow’s birth family, they were overjoyed. Chase questioned Brook Lynn about removing the email from Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) regarding the letter from the civilian review board.
General Hospital Recap: Fireworks With The Corinthos Clan
Prior to hosting his own Thanksgiving dinner, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) made time for romance by giving Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) a pair of diamond earrings. The first visitors were Sam and Dante. In a private exchange, Sam expressed her worries about Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), and Dante dismissed them.
Yelling from the other room cut off their conversation as Gladys attacked Alexis for revealing that Esme Prince (Aver Kristen Pohl) might be the main suspect in The Hook’s murder when she felt she should have been informed given that The Hook killed her son. Alexis had already received criticism from Jordan for the article.
Later, a distressed Gladys dialed the number provided by Selina Wu (Lydia Look), hoping to divert her attention with a little gambling in the Savoy’s back room.
GH Recap: A Fiery Thanksgiving For Holly.
As Laura Collins (Genie Francis), Robert, Mac Scorpio (John J. York), and Jordan gathered to find Holly on Thanksgiving in Port Charles, there was even a small adventure. While Laura attempted to divert the corrupt deputy mayor, who nonetheless overheard the conversation and informed one of Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) goons of Holly’s whereabouts, they finally got a lead on her.
Holly was happy to take refuge in an abandoned cabin and put that Ice Princess necklace on. Without realizing there was a gas leak on the floor, she built a fire for herself to stay warm. Robert begged her to come out and give up when the police showed up, and she was kind enough to inquire as to Laura’s well-being.
The cabin exploded just as Jordan was about to enter to end the standoff, and Holly suddenly appeared on fire. That is how Thanksgiving is celebrated in Port Charles, I tell ya.
