After four years of making history as the first black female lead in a Canadian primetime television series, Diggstown, it seems as though Vinessa Antoine is closing one door and opening another. Although the former General Hospital actress is on a new path, there have been some obstacles along the way.
Vinessa Antoine Takes On A New Challenge
Antoine left GH to play the character of Diggstown as fans of GH grew to love her as the original Jordan Ashford. She is now disclosing the new role she has taken on after the show’s four-year run has come to an end. In an Instagram post, she said, “Directing has always felt like a logical evolution for me. “I’ve had the good fortune to work in front of the camera for more than 20 years in this business.
