General Hospital’s Laura Wright Reacts to a Carly Fan Who Refuses to Split Hairs

Sometimes even the most exciting storylines aren’t what keep viewers tuning in.

Carly has been carrying around a secret on General Hospital for a while now — and it’s a whooper! Though she is the only one who knows that Nina is actually Willow’s biological mother, Carly has no idea that her daughter-in-law has leukemia and is in desperate need of a bone marrow transplant.

Drew is looking for Willow’s biological mother, but since he’s promised Michael’s wife that he won’t tell anyone—not even Carly—about her cancer, Carly has no way of knowing that this information can help save Willow’s life.

Leaving all of that aside, Carly is acting in a very improper way, and she has even bribed Denise to help her hide the truth. And even with Nina as a mother, just wait till Willow, Michael, and Drew learn that Carly was acting as God by taking such extreme measures to conceal the truth, especially in light of the fact that Willow had changed her mind and desired to locate her mother.

Yes, the current Port Charles drama may be what draws viewers to the screens, but one fan had another motive for watching and had something to say about Carly’s recent antics.

Wright and the ABC soap opera were both tagged by Twitter user clean4uth, who stated, “Don’t really care what Carly is doing. “OMG. I’m only here for the hair,” the actress remarked. This! XOXOX. Haaaa.”

Following this funny tweet, numerous admirers have come forward to praise Carly’s hair, with many claiming that Wright has the best hair in the industry. Sandra Monkee, who adores Wright in the part and is a fan of Carly, did have a suggestion for how the character may come clean while still saving face: “She could get another DNA test done so it has a current date on it and play it off as if she just found out.”
