General Hospital’s Emme Rylan Shares an Exciting Status Update: ‘I’m Overjoyed’

“The last few insane years have moved behind me.”

Everyone in Port Charles knows that Lulu is still in a coma at a special care facility but her portrayer Emme Rylan has been out and about these days. In fact, the former General Hospital actress recently admitted, “I’m going to try now to dress myself so that I can leave the house.”

“I don’t know what happened but it’s like everything suddenly snapped and I just feel normal again,” Rylan captioned a sweet Instagram video he shared. She began by expressing her “overjoy” and continued by discussing how crazy the previous few years had been and how they had passed her by now. She then shared that she would try to get dressed so that she could leave the house “not always in my sweatpants,” even though she admitted that she would still be donning them “like 75% of the time.”

Although she admitted that “this actually has no meaning” and clarified that “this is not an advertisement,” she continued by expressing how much she adores shopping at American Eagle, “even though everyone who’s there may be in 7th grade.” In addition to showcasing her brand-new, super-cute pants, Rylan also showed off the new beanies she simply had to have.

The ABC soap favorite, who also happens to be quite creative and sells her own homemade products, seems to have found that sometimes just a little retail therapy is all it takes to feel normal again.

Lulu’s return to the group would be wonderful, but it doesn’t seem likely to happen any time soon. So for the time being, we’ll keep checking Rylan’s page to see what other fall fashion ideas she comes up with this season!
