News, updates, and spoilers for General Hospital imply that Jane Elliot will be joining the serial opera once more on April 17. On the 60th anniversary of the sudser, the actress will return to the role of Tracey Quartermaine.
Her reappearance was originally confirmed along with the information that Holly Sutton will make a return on April 14 starring Emma Samms.
Viewers may remember that Elliot made his debut on the show in 1978. She has very occasionally made appearances since her debut. She received four Daytime Emmy Award nominations. In 1981, she was successful in winning a prize for Supporting Actress.
In 1996, Elliot also appeared in the same character on a crossover episode of The City, a sister soap opera to ABC. After her character traveled to Europe with Luke Spencer, the actor opted to leave General Hospital and eventually retired in 2017. (Anthony Geary).
When her character learned of Luke’s accident in Austria in January and February of last year, she made her most recent appearance on the serial opera. She travelled to Amsterdam to settle Luke’s business after attending his memorial service.
To commemorate the soap opera’s 60th anniversary, General Hospital promises a significant plotline. It gave the impression that adored characters would band together to defeat a historical figure who represented a threat. Tracy and perhaps even Holly appear to be making their way back to Port Charles in order to foil Victor’s plans.
The return of Tracy has many hoping that Luke may still be alive. There is no information to suggest that Geary will return to the show to mark this significant occasion.
