Straight Shooter: A Memoir of Second Chances and First Takes, written by Stephen A. Smith, has recently been released, according to General Hospital spoilers, news, and updates. The Port Charles actor who portrays Brick discusses the inspiration for his novel.
In his autobiography, Smith discussed his early life challenges and how he overcame them to succeed at ESPN. Smith stated that his goal is for his audience to be motivated in an interview with Good Morning, America.
“I need them to be inspired. You will have highs and lows in life, and I want them to realise that. You’ll experience times when you feel like no one is rooting for you and that everyone is against you, he said.
All of it is a lie. There is always someone eager to provide assistance. It doesn’t matter if you fall down or not. Your ability to stand back up is what matters, he said.
Maurice Benard Comments About Smith’s Memoir
The actor who portrays Sonny Corinthos on the soap opera, Maurice Benard, made light of the parallels between his autobiography Nothing General and Smith’s novel. The actor made fun of his close pal in a video that he released on Instagram.
You want me to buy your book, I know that,” Benard remarked.
But I don’t read, you see. Nothing General About it, a New York Times best-seller, was the last book I read. But I’m here at the bookstore and I’m going to buy your book since you’re going to be on State of Mind,” he said.
“Thirty dollars? thirty dollars? Mine cost about $23 dollars. Stephen A., how about thirty dollars? When he saw the cost of Smith’s book, he laughed.
Despite making light of Smith’s book in the video, Benard made a particular mention to his close friend in the post’s caption. He mentioned how helpful and dependable a buddy Smith had been. He continued by expressing his pride in his friend and his wish for his book to sell ten times as well as his own.
Marcus Coloma To Leave General Hospital
Marcus Coloma, who plays Nikolas Cassadine on television, will soon quit General Hospital, according to other sources. At the time of his final scenes airing at the end of January, his character will still be present. Although there is no formal word on who will succeed him, Adam Huss is the obvious candidate. The latter previously filled in for Coloma when she was absent, thus the soap opera may use him once again to cover the part till Nikolas’ leaving storyline is complete.
