General Hospital Star Adam Huss Has Some Thoughts To Share About His Time As Nikolas Cassadine

All good things must come to an end at some point, right? General Hospital star Adam Huss certainly knows that as his time as Nikolas Cassadine came to an end as quickly as it began. Luckily, the actor has no hard feelings about it. In fact, the actor recently opened up about his brief but memorable stint as Nikolas in a new interview with Soap Opera Digest. Here’s what he has to say.

Adam admitted to the magazine that he had previously attended a couple General Hospital auditions. He praised casting director Mark Teschner, saying, “Mark is wonderful and he’s incredibly devoted to people he likes. Mark genuinely means it when he says, “You did well and we’ll keep you in mind for stuff,” which is something you hear frequently as an actor. And as a result, I had already immersed myself in the GH universe before the possibility to play Nikolas presented itself and was familiar with the various families, certain characters, and their social circles.

Additionally, I can honestly recall seeing Soap Opera Digest at the supermarket checkout counter when I was younger. For some reason, the triangle involving Lucky, Elizabeth, and Nikolas drew my attention. It was just weird when I got to take on the role of this character even though I wasn’t even a huge soap fan back then.

General Hospital News: Will Adam Come Back?

Given the chance, the charming actor said, he would leap at the chance to reprise his role as Nikolas Cassadine since he adores the role so much. Adam remarked, “I adore every bit of working on the program. It’s an honor. ye.commastmastmastmastmastmastmas, and. I really enjoy the work I do there. Although though I was a series regular and appeared in POWER for three years as a supporting character, I didn’t really have the same kinds of scenes that I did on General Hospital. So, having additional opportunities would be fantastic. Seeing how everyone who has been there for a long time still has that passion, still cares so much, and wants it to be the best it can be, I feel like I would only get better and better. I respond, “I get that. I want to participate in that!”
