Spoilers for General Hospital indicate In the near future, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) must make a significant choice that won’t be as simple as she had promised Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) it would be. Even though Willow really needs the assistance, she won’t have an easy time accepting it when she learns that a bone marrow match has been identified.
Furthermore, she will experience severe remorse for starting labour early to save her own life while endangering the lives of her kid when she discovers it is actually time to give birth to her daughter. Last but not least, if things don’t go as planned during labour, Willow will have to be rushed into an emergency C-section, which might cause harm or even death to both mother and child.
General Hospital Spoilers — Hold Up!
As soon as Willow discovered that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was her mother, Nina became her greatest chance of finding a compatible bone marrow donor. Knowing this, Willow and Michael discussed the fact that early labour would have to be induced in order for Willow to proceed with obtaining a bone marrow transplant.
Michael was really worried that Willow wasn’t ready to clear that hurdle just yet. She finally admitted to him that while she wouldn’t wait any longer than her doctors advised before inducing labour, she might find it difficult to do so in the end.
GH Spoilers Hint Labor Doesn’t Come Easy This Early
Although Willow would much rather give birth naturally, she is aware that the chances are slim that her body will accept an early-pregnancy induction. She has at least another six weeks until she is expected to give birth. Even though it is typical for induction to fail when a woman isn’t even close to beginning labour on her own, Willow is going to give it her best effort. Given that the first few weeks of her daughter’s existence are expected to be stressful, she hopes to provide the smoothest introduction to the world possible for her prematurely delivered child.
General Hospital Spoilers — A C-Section Is Sometimes the Best Option
Willow is likely to feel a little defeated if the induction fails, but an emergency C-section will be necessary right away if issues develop that might endanger her baby girl. Michael will be waiting in the hallways, hoping to accompany Willow as she is rushed off to the operating room and prepared for a surgical birth. During this difficult period, the whole Corinthos and Quartermaine family will support them, especially Nina, the new grandmother of Corinthos’ little daughter.
