Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is having trouble coping with her cancer diagnosis, according to General Hospital Spoilers. Since there is no Stage V, Willow may be spending her final Christmas with her family in Stage IV. Even before she meets her child, she worries that she might not be around for them as they grow up.
During a recent dinner, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) heard some of Willow’s remarks, but Carly assumed Willow was distressed over the baby she lost, Jonah. Actually, she is utterly concerned about whether or not she will be able to defeat this malignancy. She wants Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to end his hatred for his father as she adjusts to the possibility that she might not. Michael, would you listen?
General Hospital Spoilers — Chemo Has No Noticeable Benefits
Willow is beginning to experience chemo side effects as she continues her cancer treatments. That would account for her recent fainting incident and how worn out she has been, as well as the dispute she recently had with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). By now, her family must have noticed that she doesn’t look good, but they might blame her pregnancy and Willow’s extensive nursing workload for that.
While Willow is aware that the chemo may be assisting in the death of the cancer within her body, she is equally concerned about the potential consequences for their unborn child. It also doesn’t seem to have any immediate impact on her, so it simply feels like Willow is getting closer to death rather being further away from it.
GH Spoilers Indicate Drew’s Investigation Only Intensified her Feelings
Cameron Mathison’s character, Drew Cain, has been researching Willow’s past in an effort to learn more about her origins. Just before she passed away, Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) may have admitted that Nina was Willow’s mother, but Drew believes it was a lie. In order to find his way back to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), a woman Willow already knows well, he must start from scratch.
When the person he believed to be a lead in the case and who was working with Carly tells Drew that her birth mother is deceased, Willow is upset and believes that a bone marrow donor is the last thing she will get for Christmas. At this point, Willow is beginning to believe that her best course of action is to get ready for the worst and anticipate she won’t be around for very long.
General Hospital Spoilers — Michael Deliberates Letting Go
Willow doesn’t want to leave this world without Michael having a solid support structure around him. She knows he has the Quartermaine’s, but Michael needs his father at a time like this. Sonny knows what it’s like to lose his partner in this way — the way he did with his first wife, Lily Corinthos (Lilly Melgar), and he knows the fear of losing a child all too well, too.
Michael is going to need his parents, but whenever Willow has begged him to drop his vendetta, it hasn’t gone as planned. Each time, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) convinces Michael to hang on a little while longer. What will it take for Michael to give up on revenge? It might take seeing Dex get his own. Why would Dex be interested in taking Sonny down even if Michael isn’t? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out!
