Trailers for General Hospital indicate Jon Lindstrom’s character, Ryan Chamberlain, has been obsessing over two ladies in Port Charles who might be able to unlock his emotions. Ryan has been hoping for years to get another chance to humiliate Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner). Ever since Felicia realised the true man hiding behind his vacant eyes, he has tormented her for years.
Ryan has never recovered from the manner she left or her enduring affection for Mac Scorpio (John J. York). It’s hard to tell whether Ryan despises Mac or Nikolas Cassadine more (Adam Huss). It’s also difficult to determine whether he is more fixated on Felicia or Ava Jerome Cassadine as the target of his love (Maura West). He is about to put that to the test because he is holding both of these women at gunpoint and does not want them to enter the vehicle and leave town with him.
General Hospital Spoilers — He and Felicia Go Way Back
Ryan has spent a significant amount of time yearning for Felicia and, in his own sick and perverted manner, adoring her. It would make sense that he never completely let go of that attachment to her after the time they spent together, during which Felicia seemed to sincerely care for him.
She might have ended their partnership, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he does. In Ryan’s views, Felicia is still his, and for the time being, he’s just being gracious enough to let Mac get close to her. Ryan might use this chance to take Felicia out right away just to ensure that Mac will never again be with her. To put it another way, nobody can have Felicia if Ryan can’t.
GH Spoilers Suggest He’s Over It
In light of this, Ryan no longer seems overly devoted to Felicia. If he was, he would have invited Mac out right away. Instead of just leaving Mac for someone else to discover unconscious, it wouldn’t have taken long to murder him.
However, since he was unable to complete it in his ideal manner, he ideally ignored it entirely. That doesn’t sound like the behaviour of a man who despises the thought of Mac handling his wife or outsmarting him. Even though Felicia abandoned him, he may not be completely over her, and he prefers Ava over Felicia.
General Hospital Spoilers — All Eyes on Ava
Ryan may want to take Ava with him as he flees Port Charles along with his daughter Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and her mother Heather Webber. Ryan seems to only have feelings for Ava right now (Alley Mills).
Ava will be quite surprised to learn about these strong family connections, but as she begins to retrace every action Esme appeared to have taken against her and her family, it will also make the most sense. Ryan was undoubtedly behind everything. She was aware of it! Before taking a boat out of town, who will Ryan shoot? He might just take Ava with him instead of plugging Felicia to get rid of her.
