General Hospital news says that if there’s anyone who has had a very eventful year, it’s been Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos). Here’s a little rundown of her 2022!
General Hospital Spoilers: What’s Going On With Laura Wright?
Laura had a COVID-19 positive test back in July. “Ok lots of tv time while we are on the couch with Covid – yeah, still feeling sick – right now we are finishing Midnight Mass,” Laura said to her followers on Twitter. CRAZY!!! We have seen Terminal List, and it is excellent.
She also revealed her darkest worries and her relationship with Carly in the same month. She remarked, “I believe that right now Carly’s family and children are her top priorities. She is protected by a roof. Because we never see people managing their utility bills or car payments on daytime television, her top priority right now is ensuring that her children are secure. In Carly’s eyes, that comes first.
She also has reasons to be happy, Laura continued. She enjoys spending time with Drew and is looking forward to the birth of her new grandchild and Willow’s pregnancy. She is currently concentrating on being a mother. She certainly isn’t happy about losing the hotel, but since it did, she must now ask herself, “What comes next? Carly has to have a future, you know?
The actress also recalled her first day on the set of the popular ABC serial opera in November.
General Hospital Spoilers: What’s Next For Carly?
Laura said to Soaps In Depth, “My first day, I had to work all day, in full makeup, and you never saw anything but my hand. Everyone was involved in the train tragedy years ago. Don’t you just adore how everyone always appears during a crisis on the show?
“I was in shock,” Laura continued, “since we no longer had dress rehearsals and just went straight to tape with one take. When I arrived to General Hospital, we continued filming the crash until after midnight. What in the world? I assumed those times had passed. You may have seen my face the following day, but I don’t believe I had yet spoken.
Having said that, Laura went on to say that she was undoubtedly a bundle of nerves despite the fact that she was an experienced soap opera star due to her lengthy tenure on Guiding Light. It was really busy on my first day of employment, she remarked. “There was smoke and fire as we were performing stunts. I was anxious and trying to make sense of everything. Despite the fact that every soap opera accomplishes the same thing differently, this was my third soap opera. I essentially just watched as I sat back. Additionally, I only truly knew [former THE CITY leading man] Ted King (ex-Alcazar). I kind of went my own way.
