General Hospital Spoilers tease Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy) has had it with Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) childish behavior. Vic has been spending too much time in recent months cleaning up Nikolas’ messes, often because he doesn’t trust Nik to make sure he doesn’t leave a trail of breadcrumbs behind him for the police to follow. That’s just what happened with the fire in Wyndemere’s north tower.
Victor found all the evidence he needed to quickly put two and two together and realize Nikolas had been keeping Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) there. Now, Victor holds all the cards — and they’re stacked against Nikolas. What will he do with them?
General Hospital Spoilers — Ava’s Confession and Vic’s Storage Unit Tell a Story
Victor is clearly interested in Nikolas ending up in trouble more so than he is in protecting him from it. He’s been repairing disaster after disaster for Nikolas, and he’s over it. When Victor had Demetrius (Ari Kappatos) clean and paint the north tower to remove all signs that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) was ever there, he wasn’t doing Nik any favors.
Instead, he was accumulating greater power so that he could manipulate Nik by hanging over his head. Ultimately, Vic could convict Nik using the wealth of evidence he has in his possession. The same might be said with Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West). She still has Nik’s fabricated confession in her possession, and Nik is unable to refute it. At any time, Vic and Ava could band together to put Nik in jail.
GH Spoilers Suggest Vic Could Lead Liesl to Kill Esme
Victor, however, cautioned Ava when she first brought up the confession recording that trying to use it against Nikolas during the divorce could have the opposite effect and ultimately blow up in her face and land her in a myriad of legal trouble. That still holds true. Ava’s best interests may not be served by telling the PCPD about the confession. That doesn’t mean she can’t use the threat of doing so to exert pressure on Nikolas and get what she wants, even if that is Spoon Island and everything on it without him.
If Victor continues to disagree that Ava should report Nikolas to the police, he might form a close friendship with another person in the hopes that they can assist in another way. Both angry and sad, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is. Britt Westbourne, who was her daughter, has passed away, and she blames Esme (Kelly Thiebaud). Could Victor take advantage of Esme’s hurt feelings and manipulate Liesl into killing her while promising to assist her in covering it up? Of course, the cover-up would involve blaming someone else, like Esme’s baby’s father, for her death.
General Hospital Spoilers — Either Way, Nik Goes Down
It’s obvious that Victor owns practically all of the cards, regardless of how he chooses to play them. He might be able to persuade Ava to kill Nikolas and imprison him. He may apply the same strategy to Liesl. Victor can achieve his goals of having Nikolas imprisoned and unable to take over the Cassadine estate through either path, which keeps his hands clear.
The conversation isn’t really clear, though. Will Victor automatically become in charge of the estate, or may there be another conflict between him and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez)?
