General Hospital Spoilers: Victor Chooses Team Ava In Her Divorce With Nik

According to General Hospital spoilers, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy), who has grown tired of his great nephew’s shenanigans, may soon turn on Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) if it is in his best interests. Nikolas continues to rebuff his great uncle’s attempts to assist preserve him from destroying his empire because he has shown himself to be unworthy of Victor’s loyalty. Vic, of course, has his own objectives; he desires the Cassadine riches and everything that comes with it.

Having his family close by is a bonus, especially if he can occasionally use them against one another and benefit from it. Victor will carefully consider whose side to take when Nikolas and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) go to court, and he won’t skip a beat in figuring out who will be more useful to him down the road if he supports them now.

General Hospital Spoilers — Staying on Nik’s Side is Too Costly

Nikolas has already cost Victor so much. His reputation around town is about to be blown to bits as word spreads that Nikolas has fathered a child with his own son’s vicious ex-girlfriend — a teenager! Ava has every right to be mortified, and not just because she was cheated on but because of who he cheated on her with.

Victor is embarrassed of the stain Nikolas has become on the Cassadine family name, since Vic lives in a make-believe world where the name wasn’t tarnished prior to Nik’s indiscretion. He’s causing him a boatload of stress as Vic scrambles to pick up the pieces and clean up Nik’s messes. Vic wasn’t kidding when he said cutting his losses might be best.

GH Spoilers Hint Ava and Victor Want the Same Thing

Meanwhile, Ava is committed to taking Nikolas down and she wants everything he holds dear to fall into her hands in the process. She’s not just a scorned wife with a great prenup. She’s got his confession on tape. Video footage of Nikolas admitting to doing away with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is more than enough to take everything from him.

The only problem is…Victor wants some of the pot of gold for himself, and there’s no kosher way to tell Ava that. So, in true Cassadine fashion, Vic will have to manipulate Ava to get what he wants — which is conveniently what she wants, too.

For Ava to get Victor on board with her scheme to obliterate Nikolas’ life piece by piece, it will take more than just planning as criminal partners in crime. She doesn’t actually need Victor as much as he does. She has the confession in her grasp and is capable of carrying out all necessary damage control and blackmail on her own. She is unaware, though, that Victor is also holding evidence over Nik’s head, and he can show Esme was being held captive by Nik before she walked onto the Haunted Star, hypothermic and on the verge of death.
