As Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) gets ready for her wedding to Curtis Ashford, Jordan enters the bride’s dressing room for an essential, though uncomfortable, conversation (Donnell Turner). Jordan has discovered that Portia has been concealing Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) true parentage for years. She queries how she can walk down the aisle with that hanging over her after being told she is there to prevent her from making the greatest mistake of her life.

When the I dos are about to take place, Portia will be torn between her feelings and get anxious at the altar. Curtis and Laura Collins (played by Genie Francis) will be perplexed.

Once Curtis, Drew, and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) have arrived at the chapel, a last-minute event occurs. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), who are in London, England, are forging their own plans while looking for Maggie Fitzgerald (uncast character). They are searching for Esmé Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) former nanny in order to learn more about Esmé’s biological father. Given the five-year-old address, it could be challenging to locate her.

When she realised she didn’t have much time left and that death was a real possibility, she delivered him a sobering wake-up call. He didn’t want to hear that, but he promised to make sure a nanny didn’t raise their kids. He now informs her that he must first receive something in return from her.

Drew is interrupted by a curious person back at the chapel where the Ashford/Robinson wedding is being held. Drew is questioned by Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) about if he has a date or is waiting for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), Carly’s nurse, inquired about giving bone marrow to save Willow while Carly was at the hospital, thus it appears that she could be asking Willow for a favour. However, there is a cost involved in getting Willow to embrace Nina and allow her to be a part of her life and the lives of her grandkids. Carly is likely to concur given that Liesl could be Willow’s last hope if she is a good donor match. But even for Carly, convincing Willow to accept would be challenging until she mentions being present for her kids.

As they wait outside the church for the wedding of Ashford and Robinson, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) has vital business for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). They have presumably gone outdoors to discuss this as they are both wearing tuxedos.

Sonny informs Dex that this is crucial. As he listens, Dex has a heart attack-like expression.
