Information and spoilers about General Hospital imply that Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) worries are a result of Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) suspicions. Why is Trina resuming her high school genealogy project and why are there so many inquiries about it?

General Hospital Spoilers: Trina Robinson’s Asking Her Uncle Questions

When Portia learns that Trina has been questioned by Stella Henry (Vernée Watson) and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) about her high school genealogy project and the unidentified cousin, she becomes anxious. No one in the family is aware of her brief romance, so she is now questioning her Uncle Zeke Robinson (Gavin Houston) about potential Port Charles ancestors and restarting her genealogy site account. Even though she never told anybody on her side of the family, Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) ex-wife and family somehow are aware of all the horrific facts.

When Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) was away on extended DEA operations, Curtis ended their relationship as soon as she learned Portia was married. When a young girl’s spouse is absent frequently, she becomes lonely and vulnerable, and Trina was born just a few weeks after he returned home for a visit.

GH Spoilers: No One Can Find Out – Not This Way

In addition to her shame when her family learns the truth, Portia is also scared of what would happen if Curtis and Trina discover the truth on their own. Zeke and her father, Sterling Robinson (Ricco Ross), will learn the truth, and her bedridden mother will need to be shielded from it.

She may not be able to handle the shock of learning that her daughter cheated on such a decent man since she has a bad heart. She is a devout woman. Marcus, who put in a lot of effort to keep things going while Portia was a young medical student with a little kid at home, will feel even more betrayed. Trina was the brightness of his occasionally gloomy world, and despite the fact that they finally got divorced, he was always there for her.

General Hospital Spoilers: Portia Robinson’s Already Feeling Guilty

Portia decided to postpone their wedding at the last minute until Curtis’ Auntie Stella felt better and could at least attend because she was already feeling bad and conflicted. In order to care for Mama while they were away, Zeke and Sterling hired nurses from the hospital where Sterling works. Everyone was understanding and nice. However, Portia’s remorse at withholding this crucial information from Curtis—who even inquired if Trina was his when they reconnected—was her true motivation for delaying.

However, Portia lied because she didn’t want to endanger Trina and Marcus’ lives. As a result, she is now concerned that Trina will be the young investigator who discovers the truth on her own. When Stella and Trina initially believed there was simply a little system error and the pressure was worse than it was, if only!
