We love a slow-burn storyline, but we were led to believe romance was in the works for a few would-be couples, yet here we are, still waiting for two of them to even take off while the other couple struggles to make up their mind about where they stand. Are these potential lovebirds ever going to take flight, or are they best put to bed at this stage in the withering, dried-up, game?

General Hospital Spoilers — Brook Lynn Quartermaine and Harrison Chase

Although Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Martin “Marty” Grey (Michael E. Knight) may have been the town’s most cheesy couple since they first started dating, we loved Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). Their sugary sweetness was required, especially in the Q house where love isn’t always just floating around.

Brook Lynn, who believes she’s edgy but is actually insecure, became more relaxed thanks to Chase. He assisted her in letting go of that, but she ruined their connection. Since then, they’ve fumbled around collaborating after their separation as a pair, but the situation still feels hazy. Brook Lynn is obviously interested in a second chance with Chase, but the latter has made it clear that this won’t happen. There are no symptoms of affection or regret on his part, nor is he making flirtatious overtures to her. Thus, why is this still a plot?

GH Spoilers Hint Alexis Davis and Gregory Chase

Since Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan), who was fatally overdosed by Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel), Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) hasn’t experienced a romantic relationship. To say that trauma completely changed her life would be an understatement. Despite having a brief liaison with Gregory Chase’s son, Hamilton Finn, in the past, she has been spending time with Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) lately (Michael Easton).

It’s been roughly a year of intellectual debate laced with flirtation and sexual tension, but these two haven’t even made an attempt to be friends half the time, let alone lovers. What gives? Pick a lane already. Alexis deserves a life outside of the editing room.

Diane withdrew her efforts since she felt unappreciated and like she had wasted her time. She’s not the kind of woman to hold out for a man to love her properly.
