According to General Hospital spoilers, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) has spent the last few anxious months deciding whether or not to have a screening for schizophrenia. While he was reasonably confident he wouldn’t develop the disorder at his age, the possibility of passing it on to a child has made him second-guess whether he and his future wife, Portia Robinson, should consider having children. Now there shouldn’t be any cause for concern, but Portia won’t be able to stop scanning the area behind her for Curtis’ ex. Will Tanisha Harper’s character Jordan Ashford permit the happy couple to remain so?
General Hospital Spoilers — Curtis is Looking Ahead
When Curtis learns that he doesn’t share his father Marshall Ashford’s genetic markers for schizophrenia, it will be as if a weight has been lifted off his shoulders (Robert Gossett).
That feeling will be shared by Portia. As far as Curtis is aware, Portia was worried for the same reasons he was, but in reality, Curtis and Portia are already parents to a child, and ever since learning about Marshall’s mental health diagnosis, Portia has been anxious to know whether Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) was in danger. Although Curtis is eagerly looking ahead and prepared to plan the wedding of his dreams with Portia, something—or someone—might be stopping her.
GH Spoilers Indicate Portia Thinks She Did the Right Thing
When Portia learned that Curtis didn’t exhibit the symptoms of schizophrenia, she naively believed she would experience the same overwhelming relief. Why then does she continue to feel guilty? The fact that they had a child together nearly two decades ago and she never told him, letting another man raise Curtis’ daughter, is probably the major secret she has been keeping from the man she will marry. Not only has she lied to him, but also to Trina and Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews). Portia may never again feel guilt-free about the truth as a result of this entire experience, which made her reevaluate the truth.
Although Curtis has the signs for schizophrenia, Portia may be concealing the fact that she altered the data in the hospital system to suggest that he has no risk of developing the disorder. Even more than her false statement regarding Trina, this betrayal is on another level and could anger Curtis. However, Portia believes that remaining silent regarding Trina’s father is the wisest course of action. She has been raised at this point, and she cannot change the past. She would be robbing Trina and Marcus of the future they believe they are entitled to, and she would never be able to make up to Curtis for the childhood she stole from him. She sees no reason to reveal the truth right away and cause chaos in everyone’s lives, but Jordan disagrees.
General Hospital Spoilers — Will Jordan Discover the Truth — Again
Will Portia and Curtis’ upcoming marriage be safe from an attack from his past now that Curtis is purportedly clear of schizophrenia? Jordan might do some investigating and find the lab results aren’t what they seem. It wouldn’t be unusual for her to do so.
Jordan has been charged by Portia with still having feelings for Curtis and wanting a second chance with him. Even though it might be the case, it has no bearing on Portia’s relationship’s specifics. Jordan had nothing to do with her long-ago deception to Curtis. Jordan should probably mind her own business right now, but does she owe Curtis the truth even if Portia won’t tell it?
