General Hospital’s Damian Spinelli is madly in love with Maxie Jones. And he may finally get the chance to be with her now that she’s free on GH. So soon, “Spixie” shippers may get the long-awaited reunion they’ve been hoping for on the ABC sudser.
General Hospital Spoilers: Maxie Jones over Austin Holt
Recently on GH, Kirsten Storms’ character Maxie Jones and her boyfriend Austin Holt called it quits (Roger Howarth). She did make every effort to smooth things out with Austin.
He had true affection for Maxie. But perhaps she was looking for stability and safety after the nightmare that was Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
Things were going well with Austin until she learned that he had blackmailed Damian Spinelli, her ex-lover (Bradford Anderson).
She couldn’t ignore that, as General Hospital recaps state. With Peter, she disregarded every warning sign, and she didn’t want to do the same with Austin.
Of course, “Henrik” is nothing like the GH documentary. He is obviously involved in questionable activities with his cousin Mason (Nathanyael Grey) and the Pautuck family, though.
Mason won’t be leaving anytime soon, either. Maxie did certainly avoid harm. And now that she is single, she might realize what has been there for her the entire time.
Damian Spinelli Head over Heels for Maximista on GH
On General Hospital, Damian Spinelli still harbors strong affections for Maxie, which is no secret. In the past, they were ineffective. After that, Spin spent a long time with Ellie Trout (Emily Wilson).
They were Portland, Oregon, residents. Additionally, they shared a home with his daughter Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher), who he shares with Maximista.
Fans will remember that Ellie was unable to deal with Spinelli’s connections to the mob and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). She decided to break things up. Naturally, Spin was destroyed.
But it may all work out for the best. The timing never seemed right for Spinelli to rekindle his romance with Maximista on General Hospital. And now might be the right time. Maxie almost didn’t get to spend Christmas with Georgie.
She couldn’t make it to Portland in time because of the weather. But Spinelli did everything he could to get Georgie to her, and they met halfway. They had a wonderful Christmas together as a family. And it might open her eyes…
Spixie Rises at Long Last on General Hospital?
Maximista’s romance with Spinelli started decades ago. Indeed, Spin was smitten with her from day one. But something always got in the way. Usually, her wild antics. But she’s not the same troublemaker she used to be.

She is a mother of three young children, and they come first in her life. Therefore, this might be the ideal opportunity for “Spixie” to test their love once more. And they might succeed on General Hospital this time.
Everything seemed to be coming together. At Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) birthday party, maybe they’ll ring in the New Year together. And they might get married in 2023.
