Nothing Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) desires more than his father’s acceptance and love, which he has never been able to obtain, according to General Hospital Spoilers. Spencer (Marcus Coloma) has felt rejected by Nikolas Cassadine (a number of times over the years), and he is no longer hopeful that things would turn around. That doesn’t mean he won’t test his father’s devotion and make another attempt to win some kind of affection from him at every chance he gets, though. Spencer doesn’t anticipate his father to support him when he suggests that he might leave everything Cassadine behind and forge a life for himself.
General Hospital Spoilers — Leaving Wyndemere
Although Spencer wasn’t particularly excited about the prospect of living with his father once more after leaving Pentonville, anything seemed preferable to sharing a residence with hundreds of convicted felons. This is not to say that Spencer’s father didn’t deserve to be a criminal and wasn’t still capable of hurting him. When Spencer informs Nikolas that he’s considering leaving Pentonville as soon as he completes the conditions of his early release, Nikolas will enthusiastically embrace the idea and tell Spencer what a great idea he thinks it is.
General Hospital Updates – Victor Cassdine Is Baffled
Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy) will be perplexed when he learns of Nikolas’ appreciation for Spencer’s independence. The Cassadine men have always lived together under one roof, and he doesn’t understand why Nikolas doesn’t feel the same way, especially given that his divorce with Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) is currently taking place.
It would be best if Nikolas could return to Wyndemere alone as soon as possible. However, there is a considerable chance Victor won’t give in and leave the castle, which means Nik’s plan is still in jeopardy — especially as he struggles to block out the cries of a young mother who will soon be giving birth in the north tower.
Nikolas Cassidine’s Motives Lurk In The North Tower
Although Nikolas has his own motives for wanting Spencer and Victor out of the house, Spencer’s decision to depart on his own will be seen by Nik as nothing but a gift. Even if it means losing his friendship with Spencer, he can’t let anyone know what he and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) are actually getting up to. What will happen when Spencer learns the truth and Nikolas is once more revealed to have been content with losing his son if it meant protecting his own behind?
