General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Realizes Carly Lied To Him About Dex – And He Jumps To The Wrong Conclusion

Spoilers for General Hospital hint Despite Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard’s) tendency to embellish the truth, he holds the people in his life to a higher standard of loyalty and honesty. If someone is discovered telling Sonny a lie, they might not always live to regret it. Sonny won’t kill his ex-wife or his children’s mother, of course.

If he feels Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) poses a risk to his business or love life, he might not mind taking him out. Sonny might turn green with envy before turning red with rage when he learns that Dex and Carly are acquainted and that the favor she requested from Brick was for Dex.

General Hospital Spoilers — Carly Did Dex a Favor

Sonny will think Brick was unaware that Dex was the person Carly was assisting. Nevertheless, he will want to know where Dex went during the few days that Sonny was unable to locate him, and he believes that only two people can provide him with the information he needs.

Regardless of whether Carly is romantically interested in Dex, Sonny believes it will be in his best interests to find out what she is up to if she is planning to harm him. How else would she know Dex and why else would she help him?

GH Spoilers Say Carly Covers for Joss

Dex hasn’t been forthcoming with any information, and Sonny isn’t in the mood to question him further on this. He will therefore begin with a much simpler strategy and ask Carly what is happening. In an effort to shield Joss and her relationship with Cameron “Cam” Webber (William Lipton), she will try to avoid answering Sonny’s questions and bringing up Josslyn “Joss” Jacks (Eden McCoy). This will only make Sonny more suspicious and irate.

General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny Thinks There’s More to It

Sonny ruminates on his feelings, and often for a long time. Dex can expect him to continue to bring up his absence for several days. It won’t make much sense to Sonny that Carly would be romantically involved with Dex because she just told him she’s dating Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), and Drew as much as confirmed it.

So the only plausible explanation Sonny can come up with on his own is that Dex might be spying on Sonny for Carly. Is this Sonny’s ego talking and wishing that Carly cared more about him than she does as she prepares to ride off into the sunset with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)?
