General Hospital hints that Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattson) is going to take it hard after learning that her mother-in-law, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), sold Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) garage out from under her.
Thankfully, Sasha won’t have to face this alone. Although she has a small group of supporters who can empathize with her distress, no one will be able to give her the same level of assurance that everything will be alright as Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). Does it even matter how Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) feels about that?
General Hospital Spoilers — Sasha is Devastated
As soon as Sasha learned what Gladys had done, she became enraged. Gladys, as always, immediately defused the situation by portraying herself as the victim and making it all about her. Gladys certainly has a talent for deceiving people. When attempting to negotiate the sale of Brando’s garage in order to pay off her own obligations, she conned Sasha out of a substantial sum of money that she is not legally entitled to. In other words, Gladys is trying to get Sasha to feel sorry for her instead of paying for her gambling addiction. Sasha will come to dislike Gladys if she doesn’t have a legitimate target for her rage.
GH Spoilers Say Chase is a Good Friend
As Sasha teeters on the edge and tries to keep herself from another relapse or breakdown, Chase is going to be there to lift her spirits. Ever the optimist, Chase will be just what Sasha needs at a time like this — especially when she discovers the full extent of what Gladys has done and suffers the sting of such betrayal. When Chase continues to show up for Sasha to make sure she’s okay and offer his support in whatever way she needs it, she might surprise herself by how open she is to accepting a different kind of support — a kind she hasn’t accepted since Brando was alive.

How ironic that Sasha recently met with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and vowed to persuade her that there was nothing standing between her and Chase. Sasha just views Chase as a friend because she isn’t ready to date. In addition, Sasha still thinks Chase and Brook Lynn are the love of her life. So why is Chase suddenly showing more interest in Sasha, and how is it possible for her to be mourning Brando while also falling in love with someone else? Are you “just a friend,” Chase, really?
