General Hospital Spoilers: Phyllis Is The Missing Link In Harmony’s Story

According to General Hospital spoilers, Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) may have had a reputation for being a master liar, but her last words on this planet were the absolute truth. Carly Spender (Laura Wright) wasn’t sure what to do with the discovery that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) birth mother. Of course, Willow should have received it right away, but she was inconsolable at the moment after losing her mother suddenly.

Carly didn’t want to make her suffering worse. Nevertheless, so much time has passed since then for Carly to tell her the truth, but she chooses to bury it. Although Carly might not be aware of the secret Willow is keeping, if Drew can’t uncover Carly’s deception soon, it could spell the end for Willow. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) wants to identify Willow’s birth parents for her.

General Hospital Spoilers — Carly Continues to Scramble

Carly has been chasing her own tail in this race to find Willow’s birth parents. As Drew turns over another lead, Carly hurries to divert it off course and make sure Drew can’t take any steps closer to finding out where Willow came from. She wasn’t expecting Drew to make use of other resources to find Willow’s parents though.

When Denise Makenzie (Alice Rietveld) came to town promising information that would lead to Willow’s birth parents, Drew was shocked to hear she knew very little and it all led to a dead end, literally. When he later pressed Denise for more information, he still left her with little more than hope that Willow’s birth mother might still be alive. It was all Carly could do to smooth out that engagement between Drew and Denise before it blew up in her face and the truth came out.

GH Spoilers Hint Drew Will Catch Onto Carly

Drew was aware that Carly continued meddling and attempting to steer the discussion as he talked to Denise. Was she genuinely attempting to assist him in finding the truth, or was she directing Denise in the direction she desired? Drew detests that he is now suspicious of his girlfriend interfering in this investigation and finds it absurd that she would do so, but he can’t help but have the impression that she is hiding something from him and doesn’t truly want to learn the truth about Willow’s background.

Although Carly may not be aware of it, Drew has a nagging hunch that she is trying to harm him. There is only one way he can proceed and discover Willow’s origins without letting Carly ruin his efforts. She must remain in the dark, so he must. He’s not going to tell Carly about a fresh lead before he pursues it, and when he does, it will take him right to an unlikely source in Port Charles. As Drew sits down with Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy), she’s going to share what she knows about Harmony while unaware that some of the details she reveals will mean more to Drew than she could have imagined.
