All may not be as it seems in Port Charles this holiday season, and a few significant characters may be concerned that 2023 may bring about a significant shift in their lives. Just in time to enjoy the holidays and welcome in the new year with her pals Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny Corinthos, Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) has returned to Port Chuck (Maurice Benard).
However, Phyllis might be getting weary of Nina’s worries about Sonny’s devotion to her. How much more security does this woman need? This can prompt a discussion about Nina’s reasons for being so insecure in her relationships and prompt Phyllis to recall topics she hadn’t given much thought to in the past.
General Hospital Spoilers — Phyllis and Nina Catch Up
As Phyllis and Nina catch up with one another, Nina tells Phyllis that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), who was recently arguing with her, has passed out. She was glad that she and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) had teamed up to help Willow at that precise moment, but she also doesn’t want to think about Carly favorably. Why? She often worries quietly that she will never measure up to this woman.
She’s not yet in Willow’s or Chad Duell’s perception of Michael Corinthos. How long before Sonny regrets his choice and wishes he had stayed with his ex-wife? Phyllis will patiently endure this nonsense before pleading with Nina to question if Sonny is truly the cause of her uneasiness or if it is a defect in her own character. Is Nina’s fear related to the time when she lost both her husband and child in a single instant due to the actions of her mother?

General Hospital Spoilers — Phyllis is Distracted by Memories of Lorraine Miller
Phyllis will be taken back to the day she unwittingly assisted Nina’s mother in stealing her kid when Nina confides in her about the cause of her concern. For Phyllis, it can bring back fresh memories of that period in her life.
She might recall details about Harmony ‘Lorriane’ Miller (Inga Cadranel) that she had previously forgotten. This would be especially pertinent given that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is currently looking into Harmony’s possible participation in the abduction of a newborn baby. Will Phyllis begin to fear that more than just avoiding one daughter, she was a part of a far wider scheme to ruin Nina’s life? Follow more GH news and spoilers to learn what transpires next.
