General Hospital preview spoilers Donnell Turner’s character, Curtis Ashford, is about to lose control. Since discovering on his wedding night that his new wife, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), had been hiding a secret from him for the previous twenty years, his life has fallen apart. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), her daughter, may also be Curtis’ child.
Portia planned to allow Curtis to marry her while they continued to live in blissful ignorance of this possible reality, hoping and praying that it would never come up. In addition to not knowing whether his stepdaughter is really his daughter, Curtis also doesn’t know how to proceed in his marriage or whether he should call it quits. Curtis hadn’t anticipated being taken by surprise by his wife or slipping off the path, but it’s about to happen.
General Hospital Spoilers — Family Won’t Cut It This Time
Although Curtis’ loved ones have gathered to support him, he hasn’t been ready to share his feelings with all of them. T.J. Ashford (Tajh Bellow) was aware that something occurred the night of Curtis and Portia’s nuptials, but he was unaware of the specifics and has no idea that they are currently apart.
Tanisha Harper’s character, Jordan Ashford, did not want his marriage to end the way theirs had in the past. Long before he discovered the truth, she was in favor of keeping him with Portia, even though he might not think so right now. The efforts of Curtis’ father, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett), to keep him from making any foolish decisions aren’t going to last indefinitely.
GH Spoilers Suggest Alexis Has Been There
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) recognized Curtis as being in danger when she saw him outside of her AA support group. There are always valid reasons why people pace the hallways, but Curtis didn’t want to discuss it. He’s currently ruminating on his emotions, and his worries about his marriage have now been eclipsed by worries about his own recovery. He isn’t confident he has the stamina to go through this again, but he doesn’t want to let go of that grievance. Another broken union with a dishonest woman. Will he allow her to assist him? Alexis is all too familiar with how that feels.
General Hospital Spoilers — Jordan is All He Needs
When Curtis goes off the wagon and begins to ponder what went wrong, it might be revealed that he hasn’t really resolved what occurred in his previous marriage. His struggle with addiction has never ended well for him, and this time could be very costly.
There is a rumor Curtis’ ex-wife might be able to keep him on the straight and narrow, which will make Curtis’ new wifey sick to her stomach. Portia won’t be able to do that. Portia believed that by keeping this a secret, she was defending her family from the harm that the reality might cause. Will she view Curtis’ battle with addiction as evidence that she should have kept things under better control, or might she hold herself responsible for his inability to maintain sobriety?
