General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Cassadine Pays A Visit

Ava Cassadine (Maura West) visits Nina and Sonny at home to offer her condolences for the passing of her cousin. Britt, Nina, and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) had made a promise to support one another while attempting to protect everyone from Peter August. They had developed an incredible friendship (Wes Ramsey). Because her cousin wasn’t even at Nina’s birthday celebration, it was really difficult for Nina to say goodbye to her.

Sonny peruses the box of Britt’s belongings that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) had gathered from Britt’s GH office while Nina and Ava are conversing. Sonny discovers a number of private documents that Liesl presumably ought to have left behind, but one of them is Willow’s medical record, which reveals that she is suffering from stage four leukemia.

When he learns Willow didn’t begin chemotherapy until a few months after she received the diagnosis, Sonny is probably astounded as well. However, Willow believes that Michael is to blame for the delay and questions why she waited so long to begin treatment.

Nina goes out to confront Michael for delaying Willow’s initiation of treatment after drawing yet another erroneous conclusion. She believes he is more concerned with his grudge against Sonny, his objectives, and his demands than with Willow’s life. Her worst fear is that Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) will be abandoned without the only mother he could possibly recall and believe he has ever known.

The last thing Nina wants is for Wiley to suffer since Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) died when he was just a baby and he wouldn’t remember her. Nina asks Michael why he persuaded Willow to postpone her treatment, which of course won’t go well.
