According to General Hospital Spoilers, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is utterly concerned for the wellbeing of her daughter Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). This family has experienced an emotional rollercoaster since learning that Willow had Stage IV leukaemia.
Everyone came together as a result of her illness, and the majority of them have been able to put their disagreements aside for the time being in order to improve Willow’s health. However, they’ve all had the experience of being offered hope that Willow would be okay just to have it snatched away. Nina will be crushed if it occurs again again.
General Hospital Spoilers — The Stem Cell Transplant Can’t Happen After All
The family is currently watching to see if Willow will be able to survive more chemotherapy treatments. Prior to receiving the stem cells that her medical team extracted from her placenta and her daughter’s umbilical cord, that needs to take place. The situation is improving for the time being, but it will soon change for the worst.
The entire family will be devastated when the lab informs them that Willow’s stem cells from the placenta and umbilical cord are insufficient for a transplant, especially Nina, who has been barely hanging on and is simply hoping to get to know her baby properly eventually.
GH Spoilers Hint Nina is on the Verge of a Breakdown
This news won’t sit well with Nina. Knowing that Willow is without a doubt her only chance to have a mother-daughter connection would hurt her since she never imagined she would have the opportunity to have a child again. As the doctors say there is nothing further they can do, Nina fears her prospects of ever being in a relationship with Willow are fading.
Nina won’t have nearly as much hope now that she knows she wasn’t even a decent match as Willow who will continue to be in really great spirits and hold out hope for a donor. As her sorrow transforms into resentment at his ex-wife for holding back on telling the truth for so long, can Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) be able to support her through this?
General Hospital Spoilers — Will a Miracle Donor Come Through?
Nina will suffer tremendously throughout the waiting time in the hopes that a compatible bone marrow match materialises before Willow passes away; in some respects, it could even turn her to stone. Sonny will want to support her, but he also understands the need of protecting his children’s mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). He can’t allow Nina’s animosity towards Carly to put his ex-wife in jeopardy. In the meantime, a surprise donor may enter the scene at the last minute and shock everyone. According to rumours, Chloe Lanier’s Nelle Benson Jerome could have risen from the dead.
