General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Takes Note When Sonny Panics Over Carly’s Engagement Announcement

According to General Hospital spoilers, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will be left all alone when she finds it difficult to accept her boyfriend’s reaction to his ex moving on. When Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) told him about her connection with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) said, “It will never be easy for me to see you with another man,” and he meant it. Carly has always been Sonny’s, and he has never been able to see her with anyone else. His life will be thrown upside down when Carly announces she and Drew are getting married, even though he has been moving on with Nina for a while and believes he is in love with her.

Carly and Drew are going to get married, just as soon as Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) ink their own marriage. No one wants to steal their thunder at this time. Still, Carly and Drew don’t have much time to waste. Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) could turn on Drew at any time and use his insider trading with Carly to stick it to him.

Knowing that Carly and Drew are only getting hitched to avoid testifying against each other will also lock them into a marriage they aren’t necessarily ready for that they wouldn’t be embracing if these weren’t the circumstances they were up against.

Carly will inform her ex-husband Sonny of the news privately and on his own turf because she is well acquainted with him. She wouldn’t want him to learn about it via their kids or from a third party or the rumor mill. Carly is aware that Sonny would value the heads-up and that he will undoubtedly object to her moving on with someone else. He may find solace in the fact that her decision to wed Drew was motivated by the need to escape criminal responsibility rather than love and a desire to be his wife, but he won’t like it and it will be clear.

Even if Sonny won’t tell Nina what’s wrong with him, she will notice the change in his conduct. But, once the information spreads, she will put two and two together and understand that Carly’s shift in circumstances must have been what upset him.
