The news that Molly cannot become pregnant will break her heart. They will both acknowledge that GH has some of the top doctors in the business, and that what needs to change—not their opinions, but their thinking—instead of their opinions—is their mindset while T.J. is occupied pushing they obtain a second and third opinion. T.J. and Molly won’t be able to conceive naturally, and Molly will struggle to cope with the loss of the life she had envisioned for herself as a mother while carrying her child in her womb.

Although though Molly is aware that her sister has no malicious intentions, she will be severely hurt when Sam breaks the news that she and Dante are expecting a child. The timing for Molly could not be worse, and she will find it difficult to pretend to be happy for her family to welcome her niece or nephew when she is so sad and longs for a child of her own.

Molly’s pain might not be eased by Sam, but it just might be by Kristina. Both Molly and T.J. are dedicated professionals with a lot riding on their futures. They both understood that in order to succeed later, they would have to put up a significant amount of effort now. They believed they would wait to have children in part because of this. Now since it might take them a while to find a surrogate or adopt a kid, they will feel that time is of the essence.

That is, until Kristina offers to act as their surrogate and steps in. But Molly won’t just be grateful for the kind gesture; she’ll also be worried about Kristina’s capacity to commit to something so important, take good care of herself throughout the pregnancy, and avoid becoming overly connected to the child.
