Spoilers for General Hospital indicate Chad Duell’s character, Michael Corinthos, is beginning to lose faith in himself. The longer this plot to assassinate his father drags on, the more he begins to doubt his ability to complete it. Michael had been upset with his father earlier in the game for a number of things he had done.
It was so much simpler to let his loathing of him cloud his judgment than to consider what, in the big picture, he really desired. Now that he’s calmed down a bit and gained some insight from his events in life, Michael is in a better place. Where does Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) stand now that he isn’t so convinced he wants his father to pay for anything?
General Hospital Spoilers — Michael Was Angry
When Michael’s father testified in court in favor of Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) against his own son, Michael was furious. More than ever, he felt deceived by him at that precise instant. From that moment forward, Michael was aware that he wanted to exact retribution on Sonny for the way he had treated his family, but punishing Sonny personally was insufficient to quench Michael’s thirst for vengeance. He had to really strike Sonny in the tender spots. Sonny did, after all, pursue Michael’s child. Michael believes that pursuing Sonny’s child—his illegal enterprise—is only reasonable.
GH Spoilers Hint Family Matters Most
The past six months or so have seen Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) receive a stage four leukemia diagnosis. The entire family was shocked by this, but as a result of it, Michael’s outlook has changed drastically from what it was before. Now that he is older, he cherishes his loved ones more and worries about losing any of them.
Even when his mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), concealed Willow’s parentage from everyone on purpose, Michael found it difficult to harbor his resentment for more than a few days. He feels his rage toward his father ebbing away even more in favor of re-embracing him as he tries to hold onto it.
General Hospital Spoilers — Someone Squeals
Someone else will involve Sonny in what is happening behind Sonny’s back before Michael can end the situation and order Dex to stop. Sonny will find out about Michael’s plans just in time to react against his own son on his own, reigniting their feud and possibly causing people in their family to perish. Michael will be so close to putting an end to Sonny’s operation.
