General Hospital Spoilers: Michael Tells Drew That Willow Is Sick — But Will He Tell Carly?

Chad Duell’s character, Michael Corinthos, almost revealed lately that Katelyn MacMullen’s character, Willow Tait, had been diagnosed with cancer. We never know how much time we have left with the ones we love, so we shouldn’t waste it, Michael said casually to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), who was discussing why he and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) have to keep their romance on the down low. Drew was taken aback by Michael’s remark and attitude. Michael quickly accepted the premise that he was discussing his connection with his father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and quickly thought that he was. But as Drew becomes increasingly concerned about what Michael is actually up to, he will soon reveal the truth.

General Hospital Spoilers — “Willow is Sick, and She Might Not Make It”

Drew will become aware of Michael’s frazzled appearance the following several times he is in Michael’s vicinity. Michael isn’t handling the cancer situation very well, and that’s understandable. He has no one with whom he can share his emotions. He struggles to get Willow to listen to him when he expresses his fear that she might pass away and take their unborn child with her. Although Mikey may initially dismiss Drew’s inquiries about his well-being, soon he will break down and inform Drew that Willow has cancer, and the prognosis isn’t good.

GH Spoilers Suggest Drew Will Want to Run the Story

Drew will be even more motivated to assist with the search for Willow’s birth parents when he learns that she is ill. While the reason is important to him, he initially believed Willow was only seeking additional health information or wanted to know her origins. When he learns that she requires a bone marrow transplant, which might save her life, and that her best chance of receiving one is from a live relative, he will pursue every lead he can to identify her biological parents. Michael will object when he considers incorporating her diagnosis into the narrative Aurora Media is spreading.

Michael didn’t anticipate Drew’s reaction when he told him the truth. Drew wants to help, but how can he broaden the search or make it more urgent while keeping this a secret?
