Spoilers for General Hospital indicate To assist Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) reunite with his new wife, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) will stop at nothing. However, it won’t be enough. Right now, Curtis isn’t keen on making amends. Even more than moving in with her and trying to make their marriage work, he finds it intolerable to be in Portia’s company.
Since their wedding night, when it became known that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) might be Curtis’ daughter, they have been largely immobilized. If Curtis won’t even speak to Portia, how are they ever expected to move on with their lives? The positive goals of Marshall won’t materialize.
General Hospital Spoilers — Curtis is Stuck
Marshall genuinely thinks Portia is the best option for Curtis despite the fact that he can see his son battling to move forward. Curtis will be able to tell that he just wants his family to be whole again, which could lead him to believe Marshall is interfering more for his own personal needs than to protect Curtis.
Marshall might not actually have schizophrenia. Great, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t right now seeking for any kind of security to hang onto and isn’t sensitive mentally. It’s almost as if Marshall has experienced Portia and Curtis’ separation as if it were the separation of a child’s parents. All he desires is for them to embrace and reconcile. Not as easy as it sounds.
GH Spoilers Hint Marshall Gives Him a Nudge
Who is Marshall to believe he is Curtis’s greatest advocate? Without Portia, he has never even spent a day with his grown son. Even though he was married to Jordan Ashford, he was unaware of Curtis. (Tanisha Harper). He has no knowledge of his past, so he is unable to recognize the red flags that might indicate Curtis is about to spiral out of control.
General Hospital Spoilers — He May Push Him Too Far
If Marshall persists in pressing, it might have disastrous consequences. Even though Curtis is unlikely to bite his elderly father in the head, his reckless actions will still create distance between them and cause Marshall to maintain a distance. Jordan will attest that Curtis can drive a divide when the situation calls for it. But why would he choose to cut off contact with anyone but Portia at this time? Most likely because he will soon start making living decisions that no one in his life will find acceptable.
