Nobody who knows Lucy well would think that she is genuinely dead! Since Lucy is a strong lady who has faced many obstacles in the past, Victor’s latest scheme will not be able to stop her.
It’s obvious that Lucy shouldn’t be taken lightly, therefore she’ll undoubtedly come back with a vengeance. Once that occurs, Lucy might turn on Victor because she will undoubtedly want him to pay for trying to kill her.
After learning that Lucy was working for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), Victor felt the need to discipline her, therefore he managed to accomplish two goals at once.
As part of Victor’s plot, Lucy was shot, which caused Anna to be falsely accused of her homicide.
Since Anna isn’t really at fault, it’s likely that her twin sister is also accountable.
