General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Sets Holly Up To Take The Fall

General Hospital spoilers tease, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) knows Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) is up to something, but she can’t quite put her finger on it. While Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) is busy giving Holly the benefit of the doubt and treating her like she’s glass, Laura is adamant that they stop wasting time and get to the bottom of why she isn’t sharing any details about where she’s been for the last two years. When Holly won’t meet Laura halfway with the truth, Laura is going to set a plan in motion that Holly won’t see coming, unless Robert warns her.

General Hospital Spoilers — Holly Won’t Come Clean

Since she got back to Port Charles, Holly hasn’t been very open with anyone. In fact, it appears like practically everyone is happy to believe her claim that she simply washed up neatly on the Quartermaine grounds. Nobody seems the least bit bothered about how blatantly incorrect that was.

Laura isn’t as enamored of Holly as the other people they have in common are, though. Given what transpired with Luke Spencer, it makes logical that Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) have different relationships with Holly than Laura does (Anthony Geary). Is he a factor in why no one will encourage Holly to go back to the past with the same zeal as Laura does?

GH Spoilers Tease Robert Reluctantly Teams Up with Laura

Laura is just as skeptical of the circumstances surrounding Holly’s reappearance as Robert is, despite Robert’s optimism for Holly and general gratitude that she is still alive. The most concerning aspect is that Holly doesn’t seem really interested in discovering what transpired to her. Laura finds that unsettling because she doesn’t believe Robert’s claims that Holly might be traumatized.

Holly is a shrewd individual who is capable of pulling off a con if necessary. Laura might accuse Robert of being blinded by his affections for Holly, but on the other end of the spectrum, he might accuse Laura of being the same. Is Laura simply retaliating against Holly out of resentment that Luke is no longer there? Robert would eventually consent to assist Laura in her attempt to trip Holly up, but only after convincing Laura that she is mistaken about Holly.

General Hospital Spoilers — Holly Takes the Bait

Robert and Laura will come up with a strategy for teasing Holly. In order to satisfy Holly’s curiosity about the specifics of Anna’s case, Laura and Robert will act as if there has been a break while keeping an eye on Holly to see what she does with the knowledge.

It will be difficult for Robert to accept what she tells Victor, especially since he won’t be able to address her immediately away. Instead, until they can figure out what Victor is actually up to and how he’s managed to get Holly wrapped around his finger, he’s going to have to appear to be just as smitten with her.
