Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is so sick of her family arguing, according to General Hospital Spoilers. She believed she could help close the distance between Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), her son, and Spencer Cassadine, his own son. (Nicholas Chavez). That didn’t go as planned. Will Laura be able to repair ties between mother and big brother for the benefit of infant Ace Cassadine now that Nikolas is out of the picture and Spencer is kicking himself for being made a fool by Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and her beloved daddy, Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom)?
General Hospital Spoilers — Spencer Seeks Custody
For reasons other than the most apparent, Spencer wishes to be the one to raise his younger sibling. Esme is returning to jail, but for the first 1.5 years of her child’s existence, the state of New York will permit her to keep the child with her. Although Esme cannot stand the thought of parting with her boy and does not want to send him off with the obnoxious Cassadine family, Spencer does not believe that prison is the best place for an infant to be.
Laura will be left attempting to put out the fire between Spencer and Esme as Spencer keeps trying to gain custody using every tactic in the book, but nothing is going to work.
GH Spoilers Hint Esme Trusts No One
Esme’s fear that everyone is against her or attempting to control her is understandable. Of them, some are! Esme is attempting to choose the best course of action for her kid, but it’s challenging without having all the information. She wants to think Laura means well, but she has such a deep mistrust for the Cassadine clan and Laura always seems to find reasons to defend the majority of the males bearing that surname.
General Hospital Spoilers — Where Will Baby Ace End Up?
The entire family will still revolve around Esme as if she has the ultimate say, but Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) has emphasized that the mother’s desires have a significant influence on the court. Even though she is aware that this isn’t in her child’s best interests, Esme is simply unwilling to give her child up.
The options are so unappealing, and throwing Spencer a little under the wagon may be the only way Laura can maintain her good relations with Esme. Given that Laura has been the only consistent and dependable person in Spencer’s life, this would be a risky move on Laura’s part. Will she choose her other grandchild over her other grandson? It seems like she will have to.
