General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ (Lexi Ainsworth) future is about to veer in a brand-new direction. GH writers definitely seem to be setting something up for Kristina based on her latest scenes with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Kristina visited Sonny with a business proposal in an effort to secure some startup funding for a new restaurant.
Yet because Sonny thought this was unexpected, he pressed Kristina until he learned the true nature of her motivations.
It’s clear that Kristina is under pressure to live up to her brothers’ expectations and balance her own life.
That is especially true considering Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Haley Pullos) successful profession and her readiness to establish a family with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) as a result of their strong bond.
The changes in Molly’s life are impacting her elder sister, Kristina, who admitted to Sonny that her biological clock was ticking and that her younger sister was racing her to it.
Even though Kristina appreciated her life as it was after Sonny gave her some encouragement, more changes are about to materialize.
There has already been talk about Kristina perhaps acting as Molly and TJ’s surrogate if they have trouble becoming pregnant.
The fact that Kristina mentioned her biological clock ticking and connected it to her younger sister could support that hypothesis at this point.
But, GH writers have the option to take a whole other tack if they truly want to upend Kristina’s life.
Another solution to the issue of Kristina’s ticking biological clock would be for her to have a one-night stand or fling that results in her own pregnancy.
If Molly and TJ do actually struggle with infertility, Kristina may even let them adopt her child.
If Kristina vows to give up her child but then decides she wants to retain her child, she can feel conflicted.
Making Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) the father would be a risky and thrilling move for the program.
It’s important to bear in mind Kristina and Dex’s hot chemistry in case his relationship with Dex doesn’t work out.
Whatever the case, Kristina appears to be the subject of a baby story on the episode.
The most likely course of action for Molly and TJ is through surrogacy, but you never know when Kristina’s news of her own pregnancy might come into play.
